Problem

When you try to launch Hyper-V, you get and error saying--

  

"You do not have the required permission"

 

Resolution

1. Open Local Users and Groups on you workstation.

2.Click ion the 

2. If the Hyper-V properties box is blank, add the appropriate user (in my case it was Administrator). 

3. Try accessing Hyper-V again, this time it should work.

Cause

In my case something caused the users in the Hyper-V properties box to be removed.  Adding it back in solved my problem.
