FTK 7.5.2; Patch Fix for Processing Web/Chat Artifacts

This patch has addressed issues that users may have faced when using FTK/Lab/Enterprise 7.5.2; Processing web and chat artifacts.


  1. Download and extract the .zip file attached to this article.
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\AccessData\Forensic Tools\7.5\bin.
  3. Create a backup of both ADG.WeblabControllers.dll & ADG.WeblabControllers.pdb. Ensure they are stored in a location other than the installation path. 

  1. From the extracted .zip, copy both ADG.WeblabControllers.dll & ADG.WeblabControllers.pdb.
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\AccessData\Forensic Tools\7.5\bin.
  3. Paste the copied files here.
If prompted to replace ADG.WeblabControllers.dll & ADG.WeblabControllers.pdb. Click "Replace the file in the destination".
  1. Open Services.msc.
  2. Stop and restart the Exterro Web Service (ExterroSelfHostService).
