In RETENTION STANDARDS, you are able to edit and add functional groups. Functional Groups are used to distinguish different groups of the Retention Schedule. Clients use functional groups for subsidiaries who need their own schedule or schedules for different countries. 

To do so, click SETTINGS, and then click FUNCTIONAL GROUPS.

Add. Create a business function group. Functional groups are most commonly used for international companies to distinguish the differences between countries or companies that have many subsidiaries.

Copy. Copy a functional group to create a duplicate group.  All business functions will be copied.

Delete. Remove a functional group.

Export. Export a list of all selected groups to a spreadsheet.

By clicking on a Functional Group, you are able to manage the specific functions that the group is comprised of.

Add. Create a business function that will be tied to the specific functional group.

Move. Move the selected business function to a different functional group.

Delete. Remove the selected business function within the functional group.

Export. Export a list of all selected business functions to a spreadsheet.
 
Delete. Delete a functional group and its business functions. 

Edit. Edit the name and description of a functional group.
