After making any updates or edits to the Retention Schedule or Publication Options you are REQUIRED to approve your Business Functions to reflect the update changes in the Reporting and Portal View. 

1. Go to the Business Functions page. 
Make sure you are viewing in list view. In the right corner you can change the view of the Retention Schedule.

2. Check the box next to the Business Functions that say PENDING.

3. At the top, click the APPROVE button to approve the Business Functions.

NOTE: If you have NO Retention Rule tied to a Record Type, you will NOT be able to APPROVE that Business Function on the Retention Schedule, therefore the reporting will not reflect the changes for that area.
