Step 1: Click the settings icon in the top right corner of the page and select “Surveys.”
Step 2: Select the survey that you want to edit.
Your Standards: These are your surveys. If you create your own survey, it will reside here.
Vendor Risk Standards: These are standard surveys, provided with your licensing agreement. You can retrieve the most up-to-date surveys at any time. To do so, click the “Vendor Risk Service Standards” tab. However over the survey you wish to use, click the settings icon and select “Use.” A copy of the survey will be added in “Your Standards” tab.
When you select a survey, you will be taken to the question editor.
Rename the Survey: In the top left corner of the screen, click the pencil icon to rename the survey.
Rename a Section in the Survey: Click the pencil icon next to the section name, above the questions.
Delete a Section in the Survey: Select “× Delete Section” in the upper right corner of the screen.
Edit Questions / Answer Choices
Edit Question: Opens a pop-up window to edit the question.
Delete: Removes the question and answer choices.
Clone: Creates a duplicate of the question and answer choices.
Insert Above / Insert Below: Inserts a new question either above or below the current question.
Categories: Used to tie key words to questions for filtering in reports.
Crosswalk: Used to filter questions and answers that are tied to a regulatory requirement or framework (e.g. ISO/IEC and NIST SP).
Visibility: Select the appropriate parent/child functionality. Click the dropdown to select, “Always show,” "Show When" or "Hide When.” If you select “Show When” or “Hide When,” select the specific “Related Question” in the drop-down that appears.
Choices: Select the type of answer choice.
Allow Attachments: Select “Allow Attachments” to require vendors to upload an attachment to the question. Once you turn on the toggle to “Allow Attachments,” the “Short Name” text box will appear and you will be prompted to add a name. “Short Name” is what the attached file will be titled in the document repository under the vendor profile, which only administrators are able to see.
+ Add Choice: Adds an additional answer choice.
Type: The type of answer choice.
Label: The answer choice which is visible to the survey participant.
Exclusive: Select this box to ensure the specific answer choice is the only answer that can be selected.
Heat: Click the icons to change the level of concern associated with the answer choice. “Answer Heat” is the level of concern if the answer is selected. “Non-Answer Heat” is the level of concern if the answer is not selected. Green is a desired response, Yellow is a response of risk and Red is a response of major risk.
Delete an Answer: Hover over the answer and click the red trashcan that appears.
Rearrange the Order of a Question: Click and hold the grip icon to the right of the trashcan to drag and drop the answer choice.
Question Preview: How the question and answer set will appear to the vendor.
When you are finished editing the survey, publish the survey to use it. Hover over the survey, click the settings icon and select “Publish.”
