Overview

In FTK Central 7.5.1.127, the Hash Sets page may lock up and stop responding when the KFF contains a large amount of hashes.


Prerequisite

A working installation of FTK Central 7.5.1.127

 

Resolution

  1. Download and extract 7.5.1.127_KFF_Patch.zip
  2. Stop the AccessData Exterro Self Host Service
  3. Make a backup of the Forensics Tools bin folder (typically "<drive>:\Program Files\AccessData\Forensic Tools\7.5\bin")
  4. Copy the extracted contents from 7.5.1.127_KFF_Patch.zip into the original bin folder, replacing any existing files when prompted
  5. Start the AccessData Exterro Self Host Service
