Add / Remove Evidence is Greyed Out

If you are unable to add or remove evidence from within your case because the option is grayed out, you should check the following:

  1. You are logged in as a user who is at least a case administrator for that case (Case Reviewers cannot manage evidence).
  2. The case is not open on another system running FTK.
  3. If you are still unable to manage evidence, check "Session Management" found within the case management screen of FTK to see if there are any other open sessions to the case.
