Question
What is a network dongle?
Answer
A network dongle is one that can serve out licenses over a network. This is useful in a lab environment as it allows a customer to have one dongle with multiple licenses, serving those licenses out to multiple machines, instead of needing to keep track of multiple dongles.
For a network dongle to work, you must have NLS (Network License Server) installed in addition to CodeMeter.
