How do I install and configure the SMTP Server Role in Windows Server 2008 R2?
Answer
1. Install the "SMTP Server" feature using the "Add Feature Wizard" (Server 2008 R2)
2. Click "Start" >> "Administrative Tools" >> "Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 Manager"
a. Expand your server node
b. Right click "[SMTP Virtual Server #1]" and choose "Properties"
c. Click the "Access" tab and then click "Relay... "
d. Click the radio button "All except the list below"
e. Click "OK" and then "OK" again
3. Close the IIS 6.0 Manager window
