Problem:

"Attempt to assign invalid value to a property" dialog appears when opening iBlaze, after creating a new case and while the new case opens, or when switching to a different case.

Solution:

The error indicates that the edoc viewer has not initialized properly.

Click 'OK' on the error dialog and proceed to use iBlaze as normal. If you need to use the edoc viewer, then close iBlaze and reopen iBlaze. If the error does not occur again, then the edoc viewer will function properly.

Cause:

The error indicates that an Oracle outsidex component (outsidex) for the edoc viewer has not successfully loaded into memory. This does not cause any harm to the iBlaze case data or database.
