Which versions of Exchange are supported for processing EDB files?
Answer
EDB files are only supported from Exchange prior to 2013.
EDB files from Exchange 2013 are not supported.
EDB files from Exchange 2016 are not supported.
EDB files older than 2013 should process fine, as long as EDB is selected in expand compound files.
There are third party tools that can "punch out" PST files from EDB files. These should process fine in FTK/LAB/Enterprise. This is the recommended way to ingest EDB data from Exchange 2013/2016.
